How To Repair Cobalt Pickaxe

Can repair tools (Tinkers Construct) without using Tool Station (in the Field)?

Just fired up Continuum FTB pack after not playing for most 6 years. Having fun but its a flake difficult to know what to do without watching youtubers.

I just made my first custom pickaxe, mattock and sword but when i become out mining, it doesnt accept long for it to near entirely lose immovability. Typically i would make like 4 or and then iron pickaxes for a resource run. I assume there *must* exist a way to repair my Tinkers Construct pickaxe when im downwards in the diamond zone?

Craft with Sharpening Kits in a Crafting Grid. You could also take a Tool Station with you lot.

So it looks similar the start thing i should practise is try to get 40 obsidian and install 5 reinforce plates? I tried to add together a diamond but maybe i used upwardly all my modifiers already? i practical lapis and redstone for Fortune and Haste already so did i use up the only two modifier slots already? How can i add together more modifiers?

Just had an interesting idea of creating a compact machines box equally a mobile item repair station. Make a small 1 with a open up blocks tank total of xp piping into an Energetic Infuser with the augment that repairs items and slap a Flux Point on it.

I unremarkably carry a stack of wood with me anyhow so making a tool station if I demand one is no large bargain.

As far as the sword goes, give it a copper tool rod and ane mending moss and information technology volition go along itself repaired.

I wouldn't utilise a mattock for anything other than hoeing ground. They seem fairly crappy at digging/chopping and don't seem to have the durability of the shovel and hatchet.
